چکیده
This article presents the surface modification of iron Fe (110) surfaces with Poly-L-Lysine (PLL) aim preparing carbonyl bone implants which are less corrosive and more compatible fibroblast cells. The cytocompatibility modified commercially available α-PLL electrodeposited ε-PLL was compared by combination DFT computational simulations experimental electrochemical cell adhesion studies to obtain “smart” application. Experimental study fibroblasts showed better viability cells on than after as a different hydrophobicity. porosity prevented direct measurements contact angle therefore hydrophobicity simulated calculation adsorption energies for both α-/ε- PLL structures. technique also employed calculate interaction O-H bonds at surface. corrosion potential superficially shifted 0.088V bare surface, thus indicating stronger resistance corrosion. results suggest that has pronounced effect cellular growth this implant slightly hydrophobic character leads ability.

Interaction of Poly-l-lysine with Chromatin
The priming capacity of chromatin of fixed nuclei and chromosomes for exogenous DNA polymerase can be evaluated radioautographically by the incorporation of labeled nucleotides. It had previously been reported that acid fixation or acid treatment of alcohol-fixed tissues led to increased priming when calf thymus DNA polymerases, specific for single-stranded DNA, were used. We employed Escherich...
متن کاملControl of the Specific Adsorption of Proteins onto Gold Surfaces with Poly( L-lysine) Monolayers
Monolayers of the polypeptide poly(L-lysine) (PL) are used to control the specific adsorption of proteins onto gold surfaces. A PL monolayer modified with biotin is electrostatically adsorbed onto a vapor-deposited gold Eilm that has been coated with a self-assembled monolayer of the alkanethiol 1 1-mercaptoundecanoic acid (MUA). The immobilized biotin moieties act as specific adsorption sites ...
متن کاملThe use of non-viral gene vectors for bioactive poly-(D,L-lactide) implant surfaces in bone tissue engineering.
The application of scaffolds in bone tissue engineering often comes along with side effects such as poor integrity, low regeneration rates of bone tissue with inadequate functionality, and, in case of non-degradable implants, the necessity of a second removal surgery after therapy. In this study, we coated a bioresorbable FDA-approved poly-(ε-caprolactone)-scaffold for bone regeneration with a ...
متن کاملOligonucleotide/poly(l-lysine) complexes attachment on poly(styrene/maleic acid) and poly(styrene/maleic anhydride polymeric surfaces
The immobilization efficiency of the complexes of oligonucleotide/poly(L-lysine) onto Poly(Styrene/Maleic Acid), PSMA, and Poly(Styrene/Maleic Anhydride), PSMAA, has been investigated using X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and atomic force microscopy (AFM) in conjugation with fluorescence-based measurements of DNA attachment. A mono-molecularly thin layer of either electrostatically or covalent...
